    What You’ll Do

    + Design and maintain electrical systems supporting chemical plant processes.

    + Lead and manage projects, balancing customer demands, schedules, and budgets.

    + Provide expert input on substation design and troubleshooting.

    + Collaborate with controls engineers to upgrade facilities and implement new technologies.

    + Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs.

    + Recommend and oversee electrical repairs and system improvements.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Associate’s degree with relevant experience also considered).

    + 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering and power distribution.

    + Proficiency in electrical design and project management.

    + Familiarity with Microstation or similar design software.

    + Strong interpersonal skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, food/beverage, or power generation.

    + Knowledge of medium voltage power distribution and switchgear design.

    + Expertise in hazardous area electrical design and control panel layouts.

    + Ability to develop electrical installation packages for bidding.

    + Understanding of industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation.

    + Exposure to process control and packaging line design.

    + Familiarity with motor control centers and variable frequency drives.

    Work Environment

    This role is primarily based at our corporate office, with regular visits to the plant and substations on campus. You’ll work closely with design teams, plant managers, and fellow engineers in a collaborative, growth-oriented setting. As the facility undergoes upgrades, you’ll be at the forefront of exciting modernization projects.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
