Job Title: Control Systems Engineer
Job Description
Join our team as a Control Systems Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical devices and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions, improve product performance, and support new product development projects.
Responsibilities
+ Create detailed schematics and engineering drawings for electrical devices and systems.
+ Conduct electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic design, and program peripheral devices and machine PLCs.
+ Coordinate machine debug, power-up, and validation with build and electrical teams.
+ Provide technical support during assembly and manage Final Assembly Test.
+ Travel to installation sites for installation and customer runoffs.
+ Collaborate with the R&D team on new product development projects, including design, testing, and technical support.
+ Work on continuous improvement activities to enhance product performance, cost, and standardization.
+ Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings.
+ Solve problems and develop solutions for customers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering.
+ PLC Programming in RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, CCW environments.
+ HMI Programming using FTview.
+ Proficiency in electrical schematic drafting using AutoCAD Electrical.
+ Strong understanding of electrical design concepts, components, circuits, and power distribution.
+ Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits and understand electrical drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in packaging automation is preferred.
+ Proficiency in industrial machine controls.
+ Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA-79, and UL-508 standards.
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position located in a large manufacturing facility equipped with automated machinery. The environment is clean and connected to a modern office space. The role is fast-paced and involves working with state-of-the-art technologies and equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $53.00/hr.
