    Job Title: Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a Production Worker, you will assist with setups, changeovers, and production runs. Your role will include stacking finished products on skids and pallets, counting finished goods, and performing heavy lifting of products. You will be responsible for staging orders and have the flexibility to assist on different lines and fill in as needed. Packing products and following direct orders from leads and lead operators will be part of your daily routine. You will assist in all parts of the line and perform various labor tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with setups, changeovers, and production runs.

    + Stack finished products on skids and pallets.

    + Count finished goods.

    + Perform heavy lifting of products.

    + Stage orders.

    + Assist on different production lines and fill in as needed.

    + Pack products.

    + Follow direct orders from leads and lead operators.

    + Assist in all parts of the production line and perform labor tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, unloading, loading, general production, packaging, packing, general labor, manufacturing, lift, pull, load, unload, machine operation, and production line.

    + 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.

    + Ability to learn computer systems.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a manufacturing environment that is hot and non-climate controlled, with machinery running hot and 90 degrees being considered a cooler day. Positions are available on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am).

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeton, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.72 - $24.72/hr.
