    Job Title: Quality Inspector

    Job Description

    The Quality Inspector will perform in-process inspections of sheet metal parts, including examining welds, holes, angles, and bend allowances. The inspector will compare these parts to blueprints to ensure they meet acceptable standards and document the findings accurately.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct in-process inspections of sheet metal parts, including welds, holes, angles, and bends.

    + Compare inspected parts to blueprints to ensure compliance with acceptable standards.

    + Document inspection findings clearly and accurately.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 2 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Preferred experience in sheet metal inspection.

    + Ability to stand for an entire 10-hour shift.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is very clean and part of an extremely large company with three separate buildings. The facility is not air-conditioned, so employees should be prepared for varying temperatures. Work is conducted on an assembly line, including some production tasks. The environment is smoke-free, with no smoking areas available, and employees are not allowed to leave the campus during paid breaks.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

     

    **Shifts :** 1st shift: 5 AM (OT) - 3:30 PM, Mon - Fri, could have an occasional Saturday

     

    2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM (OT), Mon - Fri, could have an occasional Saturday

     

    3rd shift: 11 PM - 8:30 AM (OT), Sunday night - Fri, could have an occasional Saturday

     

    WKND shift: 5 AM (OT) - 5 PM, Fri - Sun

     

    Overtime: When they have overtime it will be Mandatory. Could have to work as late as 1:00AM in the morning at the latest. They do well with giving a heads up in advance on overtime. Occasional Saturdays (not many)

     

    **Pay rate :** $22-$30 depending on shift and experience

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
