    Job Description

    An exciting opportunity awaits for an Avionics Repair Technician at our corporate headquarters in Moline, IL. Since 1936, we have been providing comprehensive and customer-focused solutions for business aviation. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all Avionics and Electrical equipment efficiently and safely, ensuring total customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    + Effectively troubleshoot and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.

    + Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new electrical and avionics systems.

    + Communicate progress with the Department Manager regularly.

    + Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.

    + Complete all paperwork daily in a concise and legible manner.

    + Report any unresolved problems or repairs to the Department Manager.

    + Learn and follow the company work order and parts requisition process.

    + Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.

    + Repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.

    + Inspect avionics repairs and modifications as necessary.

    + Assist with training Avionics Repair Technician level 1 personnel.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-5 years of Avionic experience.

    + Experience with aircraft electrical systems.

    + Proficiency in working with Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Lighting, Pitot and Static Systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + FCC Licensing is a plus.

    + Bench repair capabilities are an advantage.

    + Experience in both GA and Commercial is considered.

    Work Environment

     

    Work takes place primarily within our hangar, with most tasks performed inside the aircraft. The environment is fairly clean and temperature-controlled. The role involves working with a small team from Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. A required tool list includes items like wire strippers, screwdrivers, flush cutters, pliers, and a lockable tool bag or box.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Milan, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
