    Job Title: Construction Laborer

    Job Description

    We are looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to assist with site maintenance and basic pump station tasks in the Everglades. This role supports the ongoing operations of the pump station project and involves working in outdoor, remote conditions. The ideal candidate is comfortable with physical labor, follows safety protocols, and works well in a team environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general site maintenance including clearing debris, managing vegetation, and maintaining access paths.

    + Assist with basic pump station tasks such as cleaning components, checking for wear, and supporting minor repairs.

    + Load and unload materials and tools as needed.

    + Support equipment operators and technicians with daily tasks.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Follow all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.

    + Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

    + Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with hand tools and power tools.

    + Knowledge of construction and general labor tasks.

    + Ability to perform concrete and carpentry work.

    + Proficiency in using a tape measure.

    + Landscaping skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Prior experience in construction, maintenance, or outdoor labor is a plus.

    + Ability to work in remote, outdoor environments for extended periods.

    + Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn pump station operations.

    + Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

    + Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
