    Hospital Cook

    Job Description

    Join our team where you will work in a dynamic environment preparing and serving food at a new hospital in San Antonio. You will assist in cooking and serving food from counters and steam tables while ensuring all equipment and workstations are clean and sanitized.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare and serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.

    + Assist in the setup and organization of food service areas.

    + Ensure all food handling and preparation meet safety and hygiene standards.

    + Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations regularly.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous cooking experience is required.

    + Proficiency in food preparation and handling.

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with grace.

    + Awareness of patient situations and ability to provide empathetic service.

    Work Environment

     

    The brand-new hospital provides a clean and organized kitchen and cafeteria area. As the full hospital is not yet open, the pace will be slower initially.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
