Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Associate, you will be an integral part of the team, cross-trained on both assembly lines to optimize your strengths. You will work on the assembly of doors, with one line dedicated to standardized models and the other for custom designs. Each team member contributes to different parts of the door assembly process, such as screwing holes, adding hardware packs, labeling, and sealing boxes.

Responsibilities

+ Participate in door assembly on both standardized and custom lines.

+ Perform tasks such as screwing holes, adding hardware, labeling, and sealing boxes.

+ Stand for 8+ hours per day.

+ Lift at least 50 pounds independently.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production or manufacturing environments.

+ Ability to perform general labor tasks.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools.

+ Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.

+ Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive actions with hands and wrists.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean, and spacious facility with ergonomically designed workstations. The schedule includes a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and a 3rd shift from 7:20 PM to 5:50 AM, with a 9% shift differential. Trainers offer additional support and performance feedback weekly to help you succeed and find the best fit for your talents.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Luray, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.30 - $18.86/hr.
