Clean Room Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Clean Room Machine Operator at our state-of-the-art facility in St. Charles, IL. We specialize in manufacturing and distributing OEM electronic parts for leading automotive manufacturers. You'll be an integral part of our cleanroom environment, ensuring the precise assembly of electronic components such as power window switches, push-to-start buttons, and car entertainment consoles.
Responsibilities
+ Follow specific verbal and/or written instructions and standard work processes.
+ Adjust and set up equipment for defined variables like length, temperature, or process speed.
+ Load raw materials into machines, perform minor changeovers, and monitor machine operations.
+ Inspect completed parts to ensure job specifications are maintained.
+ Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
+ Record activities in logs and participate in cross-training activities.
+ Support and participate in management and quality system initiatives, including continuous improvement efforts.
+ Notify group leader or supervisor of any problems or non-conforming products.
+ Adhere to the Environmental policy related to work activities.
+ Perform other duties as required or assigned within the scope of the role.
+ Stand for the entirety of the 8-hour shift and handle small components with excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
+ Lift materials weighing mostly under fifteen pounds.
Essential Skills
+ 1 year of experience in production, inspection, or machine operation.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English.
+ Comfortable standing for 8 hours a day.
+ Adaptability to a GMP environment with appropriate attire.
+ Proven track record of great attendance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2+ years of manufacturing operating experience.
+ Experience in the automotive industry.

Work Environment
Our facility spans over 350,000 square feet and houses roughly 250 employees. The production area, resembling a sterile hospital environment, adheres to GMP practices with gown, hairnet, and shoe cover protocols. The warehouse area requires steel toe shoes, but not GMP attire. Both areas are clean, organized, and climate-controlled. Shifts vary across departments, offering flexibility to suit different schedules.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
