Job Title: CMM Programmer
Job Description
The CMM Programmer is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, processes, parts, and assemblies to ensure quality products. The role involves working with Net-inspect to create FAIRs and utilizing various measurement tools such as height gauges, sine plates, calipers, micrometers, and profilometers. A high sense of urgency, the ability to meet schedule requirements, and an awareness of the Quality Department’s business impact are essential. The position requires promoting positive working relationships between inspection personnel and other departments.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct inspections of incoming materials, processes, parts, and assemblies.
+ Utilize Net-inspect to create FAIRs.
+ Operate and interpret measurements using tools such as height gauges, sine plates, calipers, micrometers, and profilometers.
+ Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
+ Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
+ Support the quality receiving inspection department, calibration team, and engineering department.
+ Perform examinations and quality control inspections on various products and materials.
+ Provide excellent internal customer service.
+ Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations.
+ Perform manual inspections.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in CMM programming and operation.
+ Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
+ Knowledge of Shop Math and GD&T.
+ Familiarity with calibration systems and techniques.
+ Intimate knowledge of AS9102 and AS9100 standards.
+ Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
+ Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
+ High School Diploma required; BA/BS required for leadership roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in aerospace manufacturing.
+ Knowledge of calibration systems and techniques.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1st shift from 5 AM to 1:30 PM in a manufacturing environment that can occasionally be loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The role involves frequent use of computers and Microsoft applications. The position is a 90-working-day temporary assignment with the potential for permanent hire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
