    Job Title:** **Carpenter Foreman

    **Location:** Cape Canaveral, FL

    **Employment Type:** Contract-to-Hire

    **Pay:** 30-35/hr depending on experience

    **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Guaranteed 40 hours/week)

    Position Overview:

    Seeking an experienced **Carpenter Foreman** to lead and support rough carpentry operations on a high-profile healthcare construction project at Cape Canaveral Hospital. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong past experince in commercial carpentry and proven leadership capabilities in managing crews and delivering quality work on schedule.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a rough carpentry crew (typically 3+ team members).

    + Oversee the installation of temporary window protection and other rough carpentry tasks.

    + Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

    + Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and construction documents.

    + Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.

    + Maintain a clean and organized worksite and ensure proper use of tools and equipment.

    + Monitor progress and provide daily updates to site leadership.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Minimum **8+ years of commercial carpentry experience** , with at least **4+ years in a foreman or supervisory role** on new construction projects.

    + Strong knowledge of rough carpentry techniques including framing, concrete formwork, and temporary installations.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.

    + Experience managing small crews and coordinating tasks efficiently.

    + Must possess basic PPE and personal carpentry tools.

    + Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior experience in **healthcare construction** environments.

    + Valid **Scissor Lift and Fall Protection certifications** .

    + Familiarity with finish carpentry, drywall, and trim work is a plus.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
