    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    As a General Production Worker, you will follow work instructions to operate machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps. You will be tasked with gauging products, moving materials, replenishing stock, maintaining documentation, understanding quality alerts, and reporting issues. You will also repair defective production parts, analyze defects, and assist with corrective action programs.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate all machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps.

    + Learn how to gauge products as required.

    + Move material and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock.

    + Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation as required.

    + Understand quality alerts and report issues to the team lead.

    + Repair defective/rejected production parts daily.

    + Analyze defects and assist with corrective action programs.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience in a production worker, operator, or assembler role.

    + Good tenure in previous positions.

    + Assembly experience in manufacturing.

    + Ability to lift 40 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Gauge experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a newly renovated plant in Warren, previously located in Oklahoma. The facility is a global automotive supplier working with major automotive companies, including Ford, GM, Tesla, and FCA. The plant features a variety of machines, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems, and requires working 7 days a week. Available shifts include an 8-hour schedule or a 10-hour schedule, with multiple shifts available throughout the day.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50/hr.
