    Come aboard the ARK as a Low Voltage Installer - COMMERCIAL

     

    The Commercial Low Voltage Installer is responsible for installing various electronic systems.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    + Installation of control panels, panel and system wiring, conduit and raceway and field device terminations.

    + Coordinating daily scheduling with the customer on-site.

    + Daily communication with project manager.

    + Maintaining drawings and/or schematics.

    + Perform troubleshooting as required

    + Conducts quality assurance.

    + Timely completion of associated documentation.

    + Basic panel programming and setup/ testing.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    + Knowledge of alarm system requirements and the ability to interpret code books and handbooks.

    + Able to utilize a laptop with system application software, etc.

    + Excellent customer service and ability to work well with others

    Education and Experience:

    + COMMERCIAL Experience required

    + Field electrical and/or electronic practical experience required.

    + 3-5 years of related industry experience.

    + Valid driver-s license

    + Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs

    + Must be willing to work at heights

    + Must be able to operate electrical tools

    + Must be able to differentiate color coding of cables

    + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
