    Maintenance Technician – Direct Hire | Aerospace | Metro Detroit

    **The Adecco Permanent Recruitment Group** has partnered with a **growing Aerospace company located in Metro Detroit** to recruit a skilled **Maintenance Technician** . This is a **full-time, direct hire** opportunity offering stability, growth, and the chance to work in a high-precision, hands-on manufacturing environment.

    Position Overview:

    The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for **hands-on inspection, repair, and maintenance** of plating lines and general facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC components. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and regulatory compliance of the facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform maintenance on plating lines (rectifiers, tanks, pumps, etc.) and related systems

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues

    + Complete emergency, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks

    + Fabricate racks and fixtures (welding required)

    + Conduct inspections with the Maintenance Manager

    + Maintain inventory of consumables and spare parts

    + Operate hand tools, material handling equipment, and facility machinery (snow blowers, lawn mowers, etc.)

    + Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or GED; Trade/Vocational school preferred

    + Minimum **5 years of facility maintenance experience**

    + At least **2 years in a metal finishing or plating facility**

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades

    + Own set of tools required

    + Welding experience highly preferred

    + Certifications in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC a plus

    Physical & Environmental Requirements:

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    + Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, and use of hand tools

    + Exposure to wet, humid, noisy, or elevated environments

    + Occasional rooftop or elevated work (25–30 ft)

    + Must be comfortable working around plating chemicals and machinery

    **Pay Details:** $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
