Now Hiring: Pharmacy Technician | $26/hr.

We’re seeking a detail-oriented **Pharmacy Technician** to join a high-volume automated refill setting. Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, you will prepare, package, and distribute medications in a fast-paced production environment, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and patient safety.

**Location:** Onsite West Sacramento, CA

Schedule:

• Initial: Monday–Friday schedule

• After 4 weeks: Transition to Sunday–Thursday shift based on business needs

• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Monday–Thursday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

**Pay Rate:** $24- $26/hr. (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and verify product size and strength

• Replenish automated dispensing cells, scanning barcodes, and updating expiration/lot info

• Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist with inventory audits

• Prepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions with proper handling requirements

• Assist with packing and shipping medications

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, federal, and state regulations

• Perform repetitive tasks with precision and strong attention to detail

• Demonstrate problem-solving and escalate issues as needed

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

CA Pharmacy Technician License required

1 year of pharmacy technician experience minimum (externships/programs not counted)

PTCB National Certification preferred

Knowledge of HIPAA laws and compliance standards

Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and follow detailed instructions

Basic math skills and comfort with repetitive tasks

Experience with pallet jacks, hand trucks/dollies, and scanning units a plus

**Pay Details:** $26.00 per hour
