**Job Title:** Medical Assistant / Patient Support Specialist

**Location:** 600 WESTAGE BUSINESS CTR DR FISHKILL NY 125242281 United States

Occasional travel to Kingston/Rhinebeck/New Paltz (for Kingston/New Paltz positions). Occasional travel to Poughkeepsie for coverage needs (for Fishkill position)

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; occasional Saturdays (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)

**Pay** – 24.34/HR

Job Description

We are looking for a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant / Patient Support Specialist to join our fast-paced, patient-centered team. This role is essential in delivering seamless care and support to our patients and clinical staff across various departments. Key Responsibilities

+ **Rooming patients** : Prepare patients for exams by collecting vitals and updating medical histories.

+ **Patient communication** : Return patient phone calls, relay messages from providers, and provide follow-up instructions.

+ **Scheduling** : Coordinate and schedule appointments using electronic health record systems.

+ **Clinical support** : Assist providers and nurses with patient care coordination as needed.

Required Qualifications

+ Prior experience in a **medical office** or **fast-paced work environment** is highly preferred.

+ Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.

+ Basic computer proficiency and comfort with scheduling systems and EMR platforms.

**Pay Details:** $24.34 per hour
