    Responsibilities

    + Receive redlines from engineers and input them into AutoCAD.

    + Prepare AutoCAD and REVIT drawings from markups, sketches, and verbal direction.

    + Perform operations within the CAD and REVIT software for Plumbing and Fire Protection.

    + Accurately draft markups into AutoCAD and REVIT.

    + Attend jobsite meetings, manage materials purchasing, and oversee scope of work.

    + Handle scheduling, RFI's, submittals, and take-offs.

    + Ensure projects are under budget and ahead of schedule.

    + Involve in HVAC, plumbing, and piping installation in commercial buildings.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of design experience with MEP projects.

    + Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT, including electrical systems and family creation.

    + Understanding of X-Refs and layer management.

    + Strong communication and team-building skills.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).

    + Experience with mechanical drafting and BIM.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + CAD or REVIT Certificate.

    + Experience with commercial, hospital, school, and retail projects.

    + Experience with HVAC and plumbing project management.

    + Experience with electrical trade.

    + PMP Certification.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are from 7am to 4pm, with projects located in Hartford, Fairfield, and Litchfield Counties. The role involves attending jobsite meetings, managing materials purchasing, and overseeing the scope of work.     This is a Permanent position based out of Monroe, Connecticut.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
