Job Title: Superintendent of ConstructionJob Description

As a Construction Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader responsible for managing all aspects of construction execution. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with safety standards.

+ Conduct and lead toolbox talks and safety meetings to promote a culture of safety.

+ Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain schedules and quality.

+ Perform client walk-throughs and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

+ Capture and manage progress photos for documentation and reporting.

+ Utilize Procore for project tracking, documentation, and communication.

+ Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues to avoid delays.

+ Maintain accurate daily reports, schedule, and change orders.

+ Ensure all work meets specifications, building codes, and quality standards.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in both commercial and residential sectors.

+ Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.

+ Proficiency in Procore and other project management tools.

+ Deep understanding of construction methods, safety protocols, and building codes.

+ Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain a clean, organized job site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ OSHA certification preferred.

+ Experience in managing tenant fit-outs and ground-up projects.

+ Knowledge of concrete.

Work Environment

The position offers an opportunity to join a growing firm and get in on the ground floor. You will be provided with a gas card for transportation to Stamford. The role involves working in both commercial and residential sectors, with an emphasis on maintaining a safe and organized job site.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Danbury, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $57.00/hr.
