Job Title: Electrical Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a talented Electrical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing electrical designs that include power distribution, low voltage infrastructure, and lighting systems. You will also engage in field surveys and provide support during the construction phase.
Responsibilities
+ Design power distribution systems, including riser diagrams and panel schedules.
+ Develop low voltage infrastructure for IT and security systems.
+ Create lighting designs, selecting fixtures, controls, and performing lighting calculations.
+ Design low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, security, and controls.
+ Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop.
+ Conduct field surveys and support construction phases.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in MEP design and electrical design.
+ Experience with Revit.
+ .5 - 2+ years of low voltage electrical design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern (EI) Certification.
+ Strong teamwork, communication, and client relationship skills.
+ Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
+ Solid organizational skills and strong work ethic.
Work Environment
The team consists of 10 employees working in a bullpen-like office setting that is very family-oriented. We offer the possibility of hybrid work after a demonstrated ability to perform. Our full-time benefits are generous, and we are open to offering relocation packages for the right candidate willing to move to Lawrence.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
