Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This is a multi-craft maintenance role where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of over 30 CNC machining centers. The role involves approximately 70% reactive maintenance, often due to operator errors, and 30% preventive maintenance. You will work with a variety of control software such as Mitsubishi, Unitronics, and Fanuc.

Responsibilities

+ Perform maintenance and repair on hydraulic and pneumatic components, spindles, pallet changes, vacuums, band saws, relays, pumps, sensors, prox switches, and motors.

+ Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and troubleshoot control software.

+ Ensure machines operate at peak efficiency to maximize product output.

+ Replace hydraulic lines and understand the mechanics of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

+ Swap out hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders and replace various types of bearings.

+ Collaborate with a 4-6 person maintenance team in a shop environment.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical troubleshooting of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

+ Electrical troubleshooting, specifically with 3-phase 480v systems.

+ Experience in troubleshooting servos and VFDs.

+ Ability to read prints and schematics.

+ Experience with CNC maintenance and PM schedules.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
