Job Title: Aircraft Electrical Installer
Job Description
The role involves the installation of aircraft components, mechanical systems, wiring, and flight safety controls. The Electrical Installer serves as a subject matter expert and supports the team in understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, wire schematics, and specifications. This position requires a solid working knowledge of electrical theory, principles, and circuitry, as well as an understanding of basic principles underlying electronics to perform work involved in the modification, assembly, testing, and installation of aircraft electrical systems.
Responsibilities
+ Install aircraft components, mechanical systems, wiring, and flight safety controls.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert in engineering drawings, blueprints, wire schematics, and specifications.
+ Apply working knowledge of various types and sizes of wires, cables, and connectors in numerous aircraft electrical systems.
+ Utilize hand tools such as hand and automatic wire strippers, wire cutters, heat guns, electric and pneumatic power tools, and other specialized tools of the trade.
+ Operate common electrical test devices such as megohmmeter, digital and analog multimeter, voltmeter, ammeter, bond meters, meggers, and specially devised test sets to perform basic checks for continuity, resistance, voltage, opens, shorts, insulation breakdown, grounds, or malfunctioning switches and relays.
Work Environment
The work shift is from **3:30 PM to 12:00 AM** . The dress code includes closed-toe shoes, long pants, and t-shirts, with safety requirements including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection where needed. The facility is organized, clean, and climate-controlled, providing a comfortable working environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
