Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll perform a range of duties such as installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring equipment functionality based on predictive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

+ Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment.

+ Ensure equipment needs are determined by predictive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement measures.

+ Inform the immediate supervisor of critical incidents related to employee safety and security.

+ Demonstrate willingness to perform other job-related tasks as needed or requested.

+ Exercise decision-making and authority with good judgment and involve others when necessary.

+ Show initiative in gaining and maintaining required skills, abilities, and knowledge.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills.

+ Proficient in preventive maintenance, repair, and industrial mechanical systems.

+ Skilled in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Completion of Craft Apprenticeship is preferred.

+ Experience with PLC, robotics, or other automation is strongly preferred.

+ Continuing education in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance programs is preferred.

Work Environment

The Maintenance Technician role supports both 1st and 2nd shift operations at our Kansas City, KS location. First shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM and second shift is from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required, typically a couple of hours before or after regular shift hours. Work in a modern facility with advanced equipment to support your tasks.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
