Summary:
Coordinate the workload and priorities of the assigned Engineering Team(s), working with Engineering Leadership to ensure projects are completed on time and in full. Providing the necessary training, solutions and reporting to increase the performance of the Engineering and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Receive requests for engineering, review needs with Commercial Representatives and ensure that all information is adequate to proceed.
+ In collaboration with Engineering leaders, Assess, plan and coordinate the work assigned Engineering team and utilize other local Applications, Center of Excellence, Global Technology Centers, and External Consultants as necessary to complete the work on time and in full.
+ Respond to Change Orders and schedule changes to minimize disruption of ongoing work while continuing to meet the needs of the client.
+ Work with Operational staff and communicate fleet limitations to engineering staff in advance of design to ensure projects are designed with available products and rework due to inventory issues is minimal.
+ Prepare and report monthly performance of Commercial and Engineering teams, develop and implement improvement plans.
+ Develop and Enhance Standard Operating Procedures as necessary.
+ Prepare and provide training to Commercial teams on Engineering engagement, as well as to Engineering teams on performance indices and Standard Operating Procedures.
+ May be required to travel to provide training, and to assist engineers/technicians in other locations.
Qualifications:
+ Diploma in engineering technician/technologist or equivalent.
+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or ability to obtain.
+ Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work collegially with sales personnel and others to provide customer-focused engineered solutions in the rental and/or sale of forming, shoring and scaffolding products.
+ Excellent leadership skills to train, supervise and coordinate the work of others.
+ Well-developed organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively.
+ Strong background in analytics—able to extract insights from data, build performance reports, and support data-driven decision-making.
+ Superior knowledge of MSOffice, and other available software. Required for the position.
+ Very well developed written and oral communications skills.
