Position Summary
In this Sr Analyst Business Analytics role you will serve as a liaison for the Clinical Report Development Team in the Pharmacy Benefit Management’s Shared Service Operations area, engaging with various stakeholders including account managers, operations, and clients to meet their reporting needs. You will be responsible for providing functional and technical reporting specifications that map data and process information from source application systems to reporting solutions and shared business intelligence data sets. As a Sr Analyst Business Analytics, you will evaluate requests for new report requests, maintenance, and support. You will also help manage the intake, prioritization, and customer experience through reporting solutions life cycle. Regular tasks will involve communicating with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, work with developers to provide estimated timelines, testing, and implementation plans.
Required Qualifications
+ 3+ years of related Business Analytics experience working with reports and data analysis.
+ Strong communication skills to build relationships with business and technical colleagues. Demonstrated ability to learn the new processes and products behind the data and become a trusted SME.
+ Have experience analyzing and creating documentation for business rules, data profiling, data dictionaries and data mapping/ETL.
+ The individual must have an innovative consultant mindset. Find out the true business need and recommend a better solution than what was requested. Find root cause and follow through on continuous improvement.
+ Strong understanding of database and data-flow concepts.
+ Experience identifying and driving process improvement.
+ 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word, Access, Visio, and Excel.
+ Familiarity with SQL and data reporting structures such as star schema.
+ The ability to develop simple reports in SSRS.
+ Familiar with SSMS to validate source data and development results.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience using Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization tools.
+ Healthcare experience preferred, particularly in the following:
+ Rally, PBM or HC experience.
+ CVS Authorization internal systems CAS, NLX, MHK
Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and Business Analysis related experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $102,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
