    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled **Azure Cloud Architect** with a passion for designing secure, scalable architectures for Azure-based solutions. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our cloud consulting services offering. This position will be **full-time** and **remote.**

    What You’ll Do

    + Develop secure, scalable architectures for Azure-based solutions.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture strategies.

    + Evaluate and implement tools and technologies that enhance cloud operations.

    + Ensure the security and compliance of cloud solutions.

    + Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-effectiveness.

    + Automate infrastructure provisioning and management

    + Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements

    + Plan and execute the migration of on-premises applications and data to the Azure cloud

    + Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on Azure best practices

     

    What You'll Need

    Required:

    + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or relevant work experience)

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure architecture and cloud solutions

    + Proven track record in designing and implementing Azure architectures

    + Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud security best practices

    + Proficiency in scripting languages for automation

    + Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud security

    + Experience with data storage technologies

    + Familiarity with cloud governance frameworks and standards

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment

    Preferred:

    + Azure Certified Solutions Architect certification is a plus

    + Experience with Azure AI Studio is a plus

    + Experience with high-sensitivity security requirements, such as CJIS is a plus

    + Experience with Amazon’s Government Cloud is a plus

    Physical Demands

    + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

    + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

    + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

     

    The pay range for this position is $180,000 - $200,000 annually (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.​
