    Respons i bil i t i es :

    T he Line Cook i s respons i ble for provid i ng qu i ck and efficient service to customers in a variety of duties re l at i ng to a fine dining cu l inary e xperience and mainta i n i ng san i tation standards

    + Fallows Executive Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisors assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation .

    + Prepare food items by complying with portion size, quality standards, departmental rules, policies and procedures .

    + Ensures that proper food temperatures are ma i ntained .

    + Responsible for safety standards, neatness and sanitation of work areas .

    + Maintain cleanliness of kitchen including shelves, walls, floors and dra i ns .

    + Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of products .

    + Maintain proper sanitation for all dining and cooking utensils and coo kw are .

    + Handles and cleans kitchen equipment carefully and safely to prevent damage or i njury .

    + Adhere to company guidelines for appearance and uniform standards

     

    Qual i fications

     

    + All applicants must be at least 18 years of age .

    + Professional training through a culinary education or working in a fast-paced high-volume fine dining restaurant/catering facility preferred w ith strong I ine e x perience for A l a Carte Service

    + Ab il i ty to interact w ith co- w or k ers i n order to assure comp l iance w i th compa n y se r vice standards .

    + Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and et i quette .

    + Ab il i ty to mu l ti tas k i n a fast paced , team orientated sett i ng .

    + M ust be able to read , spea k and w rite i n Eng l ish .

    + Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds .

    + Ability to work all Prudential Center events, including: extended hours, nights, weekends, and hol i da y s .

    + Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including: constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing , and pulling for extended periods of t i me .

    + Highschool diploma or equivalent. Culinary training preferred

    + Must have three years working in a fast-paced high-end club, or restaurant

     

    Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and an y additional job specific safe ty tra i n i ng .
