The Die Cut Apprentice is responsible to learn the skillset to become a Journeyman Operator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Set up and operate the die cut machine.

* Cutting matrix, mapping the die & help with make ready

* Load die in the machine, line it up, bolt it in place and lock it down

* Feed machine at speed

* Learning the skills necessary to operate assigned machinery.

* Responsible for prepping machine for the next production run, sheets, dies, etc.

* Evaluate production quality; bring concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

* Assist in training other die cut personnel.

* Troubleshoot production issues that may arise.

* Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.

* Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.

* Overtime is required.

Perform other duties as assigned
