    Financial Project Manager - Healthcare / 100% Remote (Phoenix, AZ) / 100% Remote / (6-12 Month Contract)

    PM Operational & Maintenance (O&M) (2 Openings)

     

    + Portfolio Managers to support the financial stewardship of our Operational & Maintenance (O&M) budgets across a large, complex IT organization.

    + These individuals will play a critical role in managing financial portfolios, forecasting, and translating financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage and monitor O&M financial portfolios across multiple IT disciplines.

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, IT, and Contract Management teams.

    + Analyze actuals vs. budget, forecast expenditures, and identify financial risks or opportunities.

    + Develop and deliver clear financial narratives and impact assessments to executive stakeholders.

    + Support standardization and optimization of financial processes and reporting.

    + Translate complex financial data into executive-level summaries and recommendations.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

    + Strong understanding of operational finance within large organizations.

    + Proven ability to collaborate across departments and communicate financial insights effectively.

    + Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Microsoft Office.

    + Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Lawson, Ariba) is preferred.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)

    + Experience in healthcare or IT environments.

    + Strong storytelling and facilitation skills to present financial data to leadership.

     

    PM - Investment Financials (3 Openings)

     

    + 3 Portfolio Managers to support the financial oversight of investment portfolios tied to major IT initiatives, including ERP, cybersecurity, and clinical applications like Epic.

    + These roles will bridge the gap between project teams and financial operations, ensuring alignment between project forecasts and budgetary goals.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Partner with project and program teams to align financial forecasts with approved budgets.

    + Analyze and report on investment financials, identifying variances and financial risks.

    + Use ServiceNow (SPM) to track project financials and support fiscal control.

    + Deliver financial insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

    + Support the implementation of new financial capabilities and tools across the organization.

    + Translate financial data into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders.

    Required Qualifications:

    + 3+ years of experience in financial portfolio management, in investment or capital projects.

    + Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

    + Experience working with project teams and understanding project lifecycle financials.

    + Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel.

    + Experience with ServiceNow (SPM) is a must.

    + Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).

    + Experience in healthcare is a must; experience in large-scale IT environments is preferred.

    + Familiarity with Agile or project finance methodologies is a plus.

    + PMP or Lean Six Sigma preferred

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
