    Access Control Project Manager

     

    Schedule: Full-time | On-site

     

    Industry: Low Voltage / Physical Security / Commercial Construction

     

    Team Leadership: 5–10 Technicians

     

    TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Access Control Project Manager to lead a team of technicians for one of our key partners in the Nashville market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in low-voltage systems, large-scale commercial construction leadership, and a passion for delivering high-quality, integrated security solutions.

    Top Skills & Experience

    + Proven experience in engineering and installation of low-voltage systems.

    + Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, relay logic, and system operations.

    + Demonstrated leadership on large commercial construction sites, managing teams of 10+ technicians.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Plan, organize, and manage all phases of access control projects from engineering to installation.

    + Supervise installation labor and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiency.

    + Coordinate procurement and timely delivery of materials and services.

    + Maintain and update project documentation, including plans, specs, submittals, and change orders.

    + Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget to ensure profitability.

    + Conduct site walks to ensure quality installations and provide updates to stakeholders.

    + Communicate effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers.

    + Support training and development of technicians and apprentices.

    + Ensure projects are properly closed out, billed, and transitioned to service.

    Additional Duties

    + Assist with estimating and site surveys for upcoming projects.

    + Implement quality assurance programs to improve customer satisfaction.

    + Provide labor and material forecasting and job cost control.

    + Prepare data for monthly billing and financial reporting.

    + Ensure all project documentation, including as-builts and warranty letters, is completed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
