Job Title: Care Coordinator
Job Description
The Care Coordinator will serve as an expert on benefit coordination, supporting healthcare providers and patients. This role involves advocating for patients regarding eligibility, program enrollment, and access to prescribed therapy. The position requires establishing trust and rapport with healthcare providers and patients, acting as a point of contact for ongoing support.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as an advocate to patients regarding eligibility requirements, program enrollment, and affordability support.
+ Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and patients.
+ Deliver detailed information regarding program and patient needs to healthcare providers.
+ Demonstrate expertise in benefits offered by all payer types, including private/commercial and government, with a focus on Medicare Part B.
+ Navigate payer challenges to achieve necessary results.
+ Act as a liaison to client contacts and internal stakeholders.
+ Maintain records in accordance with standards and regulations.
+ Follow program guidelines and escalate complex cases as needed.
+ Provide unparalleled customer service while serving as a brand advocate.
+ Work with Program Management to maintain communication regarding patient status and program effectiveness.
+ Understand disease states relevant to the program.
+ Act and intervene in situations to achieve timely results.
+ Maintain ethical conduct regarding confidentiality and privacy.
+ Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethics to maintain team morale.
Essential Skills
+ Experience speaking with patients and healthcare providers.
+ Understanding of insurance reimbursement.
+ Previous experience with reverification in other programs or organizations.
+ Understanding of Free Goods programs.
+ Proficiency in medical and pharmacy benefits/insurance.
+ Technology savvy and proficient in all Microsoft tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Prior authorization experience.
+ Experience in pharmacy and Medicare insurance verification.
+ Reimbursement and care coordination skills.
+ Proficiency in data entry, insurance billing, and call center operations.
+ Familiarity with patient registration, claims, and case management.

Work Environment
Training will be conducted on-site from November 3rd to December 29th. Following training, agents will transition to remote work. The work environment promotes collaboration and uses the latest technology to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Morrisville, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
