    Position Summary

    The Systems Analyst will be responsible for achieving goals and strategies of the organization with a focus on Data Analytics. This requires a high level of attention to detail and collaboration to deliver premier customer service and support for Terminals and our business partners. The role will provide technical support, resolve stakeholder needs, and participate in continuous improvement efforts for Terminals managed applications. This position is located in Findlay, OH.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Supports Terminals and Environmental Accounting analytical needs

    + Provide collaborative application and data support in partnership with IT and business stakeholders across multiple environmental applications (Sphera opsInfo/opsAir, OIS, Concertive) and other related systems

    + Acquires, cleans and preprocesses raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability; maintains knowledge of key systems and queries those systems for data

    + Conducts in-depth analysis of large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends

    + Creates visually compelling and easy-to-understand dashboards and reports

    + Communicates findings to stakeholders through charts, graphs, and presentations

    + Ensures integrity and quality of data through regular audits and validation processes

    + Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights

    + Drive continuous improvement and defect elimination in organization using data insights

    + Establishes and supports data governance to ensure data is fit for optimum use by the organization

    Data Analysis Experience

    + A strong passion for empirical research and answering difficult questions with data.

    + Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches to generate positive business results.

    + Experience with data analysis efforts: identifying data sources, querying data, performing exploratory data analysis/modeling, presenting historical insights/business justification, and affecting data-driven business changes.

    + Experience with business intelligence self-service analytics software tools such as Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, Power Platform, SQL and others.

    + Experience with manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources and communicating complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.

    + Proven ability to think critically and solve problems, given incomplete information and/or ambiguous requirements. A flexible analytic approach that provides results at varying levels of precision.

    Education and Experience

    + Bachelor's Degree required, with a preference in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related.

    + Four (4) years of relevant work experience required

    + Data Analysis - Identifying, evaluating, interpreting and organizing data so that it can be used for business decisions; sorting through data to identify patterns and establish relationships.

    + Data Operations – Managing, manipulating, and analyzing data throughout its lifecycle; deriving meaningful insights and supporting decision-making through the collection, storage, retrieval, transformation, and visualization of data.

    + Data Reporting - Accessing information from databases, forms, and other sources, and preparing reports according to requirements.

    + Metrics Management - Monitoring performance indicators that demonstrate how effectively a unit/business/function/company is achieving key objectives.

    + Work Management - Taking ownership of actions and behaviors; effectively managing one’s time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently; exercising conscious control of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
