The Role:

Cognizant is seeking a motivated and innovative **Amazon contact center Product Owner** to join our team as a Senior Associate. This role will focus on building intelligent, scalable contact center solutions using **Amazon Connect, Python, Lex bot, LangGraph, LLMs, Agentic AI** and other **Amazon services** . The ideal candidate is a collaborative engineer with a passion for cloud-native development, AI integration, and customer experience transformation.

Responsibilities:

+ Design and implement contact center solutions using **Amazon Connect, Lex Bot, LLMs, GenAI, Agentic AI** and **Amazon Bedrock APIs or other services** .

+ Develop and integrate Amazon contact center solutions & services such as Dyanmo DB, AWS Cloud, AWS Bedrock, Lambda, RAG architecture, Gen AI & Agentic AI solutions.

+ Build intelligent workflows leveraging **Agentic AI** , **Generative AI** , and **LLMs** .

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, write them and deliver high-quality solutions.

+ Write clean, efficient, and testable code using **Python** .

+ Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

+ Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and mentoring activities.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Qualifications:

+ About 5-8 years of software development experience, including hands-on work with Agentic AI, Gen AI, LLMs, Amazon AWS cloud services, Amazon Connect or Lex Bot.

+ Strong proficiency in **Python programming** . Collaborate with Customers cross functional teams.

+ Experience with:

+ **Amazon Connect, Conversational AI, Q**

+ **LangGraph** , **LangChain** , and **LLMs (Large Language Models)**

+ **Agentic AI and Generative AI**

+ **Model Context Protocol (MCP)**

+ **Amazon Bedrock AgentCore**

+ Experience with **custom integrations with CRM systems** such as **Salesforce** , **ServiceNow** , etc.

+ Ability to quickly learn and adopt new GCP services.

+ Solid understanding of **Amazon AWS architecture** and best practices.

+ Exposure to **contact center development** and integration.

+ Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps practices.

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Amazon AWS certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer, Professional Cloud Architect).

+ Experience with CI/CD tools and automation.

+ Knowledge of voice/chat bot development and conversational AI.

+ Understanding of data privacy and compliance in contact center environments.

Work Authorization:

Location:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 to 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in **Plano, TX or Bridgewater, NJ** .
