    Responsibilities:

    + Perform electrical installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs, and/or solicits proposals for work on low voltage control circuits up to 480V for various systems, MCC’s, MDPs, emergency generators, transfer switches, transformers, VFDs and PLC’s.

    + Develop parts lists, submit orders, establish timelines, and direct support staff for project execution.

    + Ensure compliance with safety codes, NEC, and local regulations.

    + Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

    + Collaborate with mechanics, fabricators, and team members on projects.

    + Use hand tools, power tools, and ohmmeters efficiently.

    + Assist with general shop and non-electrical tasks as needed.

    + Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.

    + Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

    + Participate in the site’s Electrical Safety Team.

    + Respond to electrical emergencies outside normal working hours.

    + Adhere to GMP documentation and cleanroom work requirements.

    + Coordinate work with the Planner/Scheduler to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of work orders and projects.

    + Coordinate and implement sitewide power shutdowns for various systems.

    + Supervise electrical system performance and recommend improvements.

    **Qualifications** :

    + Completion of a formal electrical apprentice program or a 2- or 4-year electrical technical degree

    + Five years of experience in electrical work in an industrial manufacturing setting.

    + Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, and safety standards.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong communication and organizational abilities.

    + Proven experience acting in a lead electrician role and directing personnel activities

    + Must be trained and practice safe work procedures and demonstrate knowledge of NFPA70E, Lock Out/Tag Out Systems.

    + Proven knowledge and working experience with building electrical utility generation and distributions systems, MCCs/ MDPs, emergency generators, transfer switches, transformers, VFDs, infrared scanning.

    + Valid driver’s license to travel between sites.
