    _We are looking for you to join our team as a_ **_Program Quality Engineer_** _based out of_ **_Apopka, FL_** _._

    _What You’ll get to Do:_

    + _Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials products_

    + _Assesses program performance and risks related to quality requirements to ensure contractual requirements are met_

    + _Review and assess contractual requirements for applicability._

    + _Perform cost account management-related activities on programs supporting_

    + _Establish and maintain constructive working relationships with customers_

    + _Perform cost account management-related activities on programs supporting_

    + _Support program gate reviews as required_

    + _Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications._

    + _Work from engineering drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, inspection instructions, and checklists to ensure items meet required specifications and quality standards_

    + _Initiate Corrective Action Plans and work with suppliers, manufacturing, and engineering personnel to identify root cause and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented._

    + _Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements._

    + _Applies technical knowledge in industry standard quality engineering methods, interpretation of drawing requirements and applicable specifications & standards, and mechanical measurement & analysis_

    + _Perform process audits of software development processes to assure compliance with established policies, procedures, work instructions, and program-specific plans._

    + _Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation plans to assist program activities for processing software, hardware, and materials into partially finished or finished products._

    + _Cross-trained in the software quality engineer processes in the department._

    + _Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications_

    _Basic Qualifications Program Quality Engineer_

    + _Bachelor's of Science Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality and/or manufacturing; OR a minimum of 3 years in quality/manufacturing with a Master's degree_

    + _Demonstrated experience authoring_ _technical reports, process documentation, or presentations_ _for engineering or production programs._

    + _Demonstrated experience conducting_ _stakeholder or customer reviews_ _at multiple levels (e.g., shop floor personnel, program management, senior leadership)._

    + _Experience applying_ _Quality Management Systems (AS9100, ISO 9001, etc.)_ _._

    + _Experience reviewing and applying_ _risk management principles_ _in contractual or technical requirement assessments._

    + _Ability to_ _obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense SECRET clearance_ _._

    + _U.S. Citizenship required._

    _Preferred Qualifications Program Quality Enginee_** **_r_

    + _Earned Value Management CAM experience_

    + _ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)_

    + _Strong background in design and/or operations (manufacturing, quality, etc) of electromechanical, electro-optical, and/or opto-mechanical systems._

    + _Demonstrated knowledge of Agile software development process_

    + _Demonstrated knowledge of C, C++, Java, and Python_

    + _Seasoned facilitator for Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities_

    + _Experience in maintaining positive supplier relationships, including through successful resolution of supplier quality challenges_

    + _Active DoD Secret Clearance_

    Primary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
