    _We are looking for you to join our team as an_ **_Operations Project Manager (OPM)_** **_Microelectronics_** _based out of_ **_Apopka, FL_** _._

     

    _Northrop Grumman’s semiconductor foundry, packaging, integration, and test lines offer unique capabilities that support a range of production microelectronics and provide leading-edge technology development. The Apopka, Florida, wafer bumping µ-line will support flip-chip, 2.5D, and 3D packaging for internal production customers, as well as emerging technology programs. The line provides a range of wafer post-processing capabilities._

    _What You’ll get to Do:_

    + _The Microelectronics Operations Project Manager serves as the manufacturing team liaison to/from program management, engineering, manufacturing operations, global supply chain, mission assurance, and customers._

    + _Development and delivery of presentations to customers, management, and other program stakeholders._

    + _Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives._

    + _Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with program managers, line managers, and clients._

    + _Business-facing manufacturing representative responsible for the_ _cost, schedule, and technical performance execution of the Manufacturing scope of the contract._

    + _Manufacturing lead for the proposal phase of the Manufacturing operations content, including coordinating the inputs with the program office, engineering, SCM, and the functional manufacturing and test organizations._

    + _Focal point in driving manufacturing process_ _development, continuous improvement, and affordability initiatives related to their specific program._

    + _Manages risks and opportunities for all Manufacturing scope. Collaborates with all functional organizations to resolve any Manufacturing conflicts or challenges._

    + _Cost Account Manager (CAM) for Manufacturing Operations budget, including Earned Value_ _Management reporting and variance reporting. Ensures that the required manufacturing and test resources are forecasted and secured to execute the job (people, equipment, and facilities)._

    + _Manufacturing representative at the program Configuration Control Board, ensuring proper implementation of design changes._

    + _Active participant in program risk management activity,_ _ensuring manufacturing risks are accurately portrayed in the program risk register._

     

    _********This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. This is not a Manager position.********_

    _Required Qualifications_** **_Operations Project Manager (OPM)_** **_Microelectronics_** **_:_

    + _Technical Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ experience, or a Master’s with 3 years’ experience with relevant practice._

    + _Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead (technical or manager), integrated program team, or cost account manager._

    + _2+ years’ experience in Semiconductor or Advanced Packaging manufacturing._

    + _Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or Control Account Management (CAM) techniques, which includes program cost and schedule management._

    + _Working experience with ERP systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems._

    + _Experience in leadership and project management._

    + _Ability to receive and maintain a U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance._

    + _U.S. Citizen required_

    _Preferred Qualifications_** **_Operations Project Manager (OPM)_** **_Microelectronics_** **_:_

    + _Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field and a master’s degree_

    + _CAM certification_

    + _Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement_

    + _Manufacturing or Engineering experience_

    + _Experience with bases of estimates, shop order creation, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and leading proposal efforts_

    + _Active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance_

    Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
