    Description and Requirements

     

    Job Title: Field IDG Global Account Manager – IBM Global Account

    Role Overview:

    As a Field IDG Global Account Manager dedicated to the IBM Global Account selling Lenovo’s Intelligent Device group (IDG) and Solutions portfolio, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth, deepening executive relationships, and delivering innovative solutions across IBM’s global footprint. You will serve as the primary point of contact, orchestrating cross-functional teams to align with IBM’s business priorities and deliver measurable outcomes. This role includes driving the expansion of Lenovo's sell with business to IBM's strategic clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Strategic Account Leadership** : Own the global IDG relationship with IBM, developing and executing a multi-year account strategy aligned with both IBM’s and our company’s goals.

    + **Business Development:** Identify new areas of opportunity for expansion of Lenovo's business with and through IBM.

    + **Revenue Growth** : Lead sales execution, pipeline development, and revenue attainment across all geographies.

    + **Executive Engagement** : Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior IBM stakeholders, including C-level executives.

    + **Solution Selling** : Leverage deep knowledge of Lenovo’s capabilities and understanding of IBM’s business and client needs to deliver differentiated value.

    + **Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Partner with internal teams (ISG, Brand, Services, Solutions, Supply Chain, Finance) and across business units to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

    + **Forecasting & Reporting** : Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting using CRM tools and executive dashboards.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    + 10+ years of enterprise sales or global account management experience.

    + Proven success managing large, complex accounts with multi-million-dollar quotas.

    + Strong executive presence and communication skills.

    + Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and lead virtual teams globally.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Channel, GSI, or Partner experience.

    + Understanding of IBM’s business model and strategy.

    + Understanding of Lenovo’s IDG, SSG, and Solutions Portfolio.
