Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The CIRV RN Supervisor supports leadership with the management of staff and the day to day operations. This individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilize good judgment to assess and escalate situations when warranted and utilize knowledge and skills in the areas of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards within the services. The CIRV RN Supervisor must act as leader by building constructive relationships, supporting leadership in developing, setting and executing service goals and the strategic plan in accordance with Marshfield Clinic’s Health System (MCHS) mission statement.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

_For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation._

**Minimum Required:** Associate Degree in Nursing (RN).

**Preferred/Optional:** Bachelor’s degree in nursing, management or healthcare related field.

EXPERIENCE

**Minimum Required:** Two years’ of experience as a Cardiovascular RN and one year of demonstrated leadership experience in the CIRV or related healthcare specialty or general management experience.

**Preferred/Optional:** Five years’ experience as a CIRV Lab RN, with clinical experience in two modalities (Cardiac, Interventional Radiology and/or Electrophysiology) and two years’ experience in a supervisory role in a CIRV Lab or five years’ general management experience .

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

_The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position._

**Minimum Required:** Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Wisconsin Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 3 months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire.

**Preferred/Optional:** Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
