Construction Project Engineer

We have an outstanding career opportunity for aConstruction Project Engineerto join a leading Company located in theOahu, HIsurrounding area.
Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
Responsibilities :
+ Review and process submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs (architectural, structural, MEP).
+ Support superintendents and project managers with field coordinatio n.
+ Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
+ Assist with scheduling and cost tracking (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
+ Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
+ Maintain QC documentation, testing records, and inspection reports.
+ Ensure compliance with safety standards and permits.
+ Work with owners, architects, and design teams to resolve issues.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
+ Minimum 3–6 years of experience in commercial or vertical construction.
+ Familiarity with estimating, scheduling, and contract administration.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; Primavera P6/MS Project preferred.
+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
+ Local candidates are highly preferred due to limited housing availability and the high cost of living on both islands.
+ Prior Hawaiʻi construction experience strongly valued.
