    Job Description

    Join Olsson’s Federal Engineering & Design Team as a Project Civil Engineer. At Olsson, you’ll play a key role in shaping projects that support military bases, VA campuses, and other vital government facilities. Join a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to delivering innovative, site/civil engineering solutions that meet rigorous federal standards and exceed client expectations.

    What You'll Do

    + Lead comprehensive civil design efforts on federal projects —including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout — ensuring precision and compliance.

    + Develop detailed planning and design documents, technical specifications, and reports.

    + Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality project outcomes.

    + Ensure all designs meet UFC, DoD, VA, and other federal regulations and standards.

    + Support proposal development and actively participate in federal RFP responses.

    + Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, guiding projects from concept through completion.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

    + Minimum 6 years of experience in civil/site design, ideally with federal clients.

    + Proficiency in Civil 3D and other relevant design software.

    + Deep understanding of DoD, VA, and federal design standards and processes.

    + Exceptional communication skills and proven ability to coordinate complex projects.
