    **As a Project Engineer II - HTF Test** within the HTF (Honeywell Turbofan) Growth Programs team, you will have the opportunity to lead engine testing on a variety of advanced technology, new product development and sustaining programs. You will partner with world class engineers and technicians to define test objectives, instrument and build test articles and execute and document engine tests. You will also support planning and execution of small-to-medium-sized development and capital improvement products.

     

    In this role, you will have the opportunity to dive deep into the world of aerospace engineering, where you will gain hands-on experience, develop skills in a collaborative environment and make an impact on the future of aerospace technology.

     

    + Lead cross-functional teams to define, plan and execute tests required to meet program objectives.

    + Write assembly instructions, test instructions and test reports

    + Prepare estimates for engine test activities

    + Manage test article and related hardware, instrumentation and necessary data acquisition systems.

    + Create project cost and schedule estimates

    + Lead execution of test-related projects.

    + Develop and track to detailed schedules with established milestones

    + Identify risks and opportunities; develop and execute mitigation/realization plans.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

    + 1+ years of experience as a mechanical or aerospace engineer with a focus on hardware and/or test.

    WE VALUE

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical engineering discipline.

    + Experience with testing of mechanical systems.

    + Experience with the design, manufacture, assembly and/or test of turbomachinery is of value.

    + Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done and who do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.

    + Superior interpersonal and communication skills required to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers and suppliers.

    + Project management skills, including experience managing cost and schedule

    + Teambuilding and leadership skills.

    + Ability to focus on the details. Excellent organizational skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to recognize risks before they can cause significant program impact, and the ability to develop and execute sound mitigation plans.

    + Excellent oral and written communications skills.

    + Ability to prioritize time and resources effectively.
