The ideal candidate for the **Loan Control Analyst** will have the skills and experience necessary to:

• Be responsible for interpreting and reviewing loans to determine compliance with company credit policy and lending standard operating procedures.

• Make decisions and recommendations for approvals of loan under either bank or lending standards based on reviews.

• Review and screen loan files for compliance and problems.

• Prepare and analyze loan packages with respect to program guidelines and performs applicable due diligence to assure compliance.

• Recommend procedures to maintain quality control aspects of lending practices.

• Monitor and follow up on collateral documentation.

• Review files subject to audits and remediate exceptions prior to audits.

• Track and maintain audit exception reports.

• Perform post-closing audit and review of loan files to assure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications** :

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field and 2+ years of experience with lending, familiarity with credit/compliance policies and procedures, loan analysis or other directly related experience.

• Banking or Finance experience a plus.

• Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of lending, loan documentation, credit policies, lending regulations, requirements and audit/review procedures.

• Must have strong analysis, problem resolution and auditing skills.

• Requires excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to work with lending staff to resolve review issues.

• Exceptional communication and customer relations skills.

• Knowledge of PC software to include Microsoft Office or similar software.

• May lead or train other analysts.
