    About the Role:

    Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Education Teacher’s Assistant to support a vibrant school community in Roxbury, MA. This long-term assignment offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives while gaining valuable classroom experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities

    + Provide one-on-one or small group support to students

    + Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment

    + Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

    + Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure student success

    + Monitor student progress and provide feedback to educators

    + Assist with classroom management and supervision during transitions, lunch, and recess

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree (required)

    + Minimum of 1 year experience working in a classroom setting

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

    + Passion for education and student development
