Rapid Response RN | November Start – Pleasanton

Start Date: November 2025 | 13-Week Contract

We’re seeking an experienced Rapid Response RN for a travel assignment at a leading hospital in Pleasanton, California. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong ICU or ER experience, capable of responding to emergent patient needs across units in a high-acuity environment.

Position Highlights

+ Location: Pleasanton, CA

+ Setting: Hospital – Rapid Response Team

+ Start Window: November 2025

+ Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension

+ Schedule: 4x12s (48 hours/week)

+ Shift: Nights

Required Qualifications

+ Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)

+ CA RN License

+ 5+ years of ICU or ER RN experience

+ Certifications:

+ BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (American Heart Association)

+ Experience:

+ EPIC EMR proficiency

+ Previous travel RN experience

Additional Compliance Requirements

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

+ Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

+ Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements

+ Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required

+ Computer proficiency required

What You’ll Do:

Respond to rapid response calls across hospital units, assess and stabilize patients, and collaborate with ICU and ER teams to ensure timely and effective care in critical situations.
