    ENTRY LEVEL MANUFACTURING EXTRA BOARD POSITIONS

    STARTING PAY $26.54

     

    + Must have a High School or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

    + Must be able to work entry-level jobs and be able to work in an industrial environment.

    + Must be willing and able to work an unpredictable 12-hour shift schedule which includes: days, nights, and weekends that can change with very little notice to cover vacancies.

    + Must be willing and able to work overtime and work on most holidays.

    + Two years of work experience is required.

    + Experience in industrial work such as manufacturing, logging, or construction is a plus but not required.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operates routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.

    + Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.

    + Measures finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.

    + Maintains logs and records of units produced. Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.

    + Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.

    + Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

    + Follow safety regulations.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    Experience

    + Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

    + Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.

    + Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
