    Summary About the position: This position will be assigned to the Club on Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Georgia. The position is a regular full-time position, which means you are eligible for benefits and guaranteed to work at least 35 hours per week. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts. Responsibilities Works under direct supervision of the Club Manager. Monitors operations of a club or assigned area which can include at night or on weekends. Responsible for issue, receipt and control of cash boxes. Prepares daily paperwork and deposits. Prepare a report of all significant occurrences during the shift. Reviews the schedule of functions that are to take place during the assigned shift and ensure they are carried out as planned by management. Ensures that only authorized personnel use the facility, and that club rules, regulations and established procedures are followed. Provides instruction and guidance to all club staff members on functions taking place during the shift. Inspects and secures facility at the end of the shift. Assists manager with work schedules of club staff and assigns additional personnel when needed to accomplish the job. Distributes and balances workload among employees. Conducts OJT for employees as appropriate. Evaluates any problems in staffing, work operations, etc. by researching and recommending solutions to the Club Manager. Responsible for the efficient, accurate, and update of all operations of POS, inventory control systems, and other club systems. Responsible for inventories and maintaining budgeted cost of goods and proper storage of all supplies, alcohol and consumables. Responsible for providing required reports and information to the appropriate office. May order or receive inventory items and ensure receipts are properly recorded. When necessary, the incumbent is responsible for arranging activities such as banquets, private parties, weddings, receptions, luncheons and other special activities requiring food and beverage services. Maintains the party reservation book and party contracts. Responsible for frequent contact with club patrons for the purpose of answering questions regarding services, policies, rules and regulations. Assures patron satisfaction by resolving complaints and other customer problems. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: Must have experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, RU retail operation. Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers. Must also have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit or other processing of cash items when this includes (1) direct handling of cash items, and (2) use of cash accountability control methods. Knowledge of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel). Must have experience which demonstrates ability to provide work direction to other employees. Must be able to communicate with customers and possess skill in dealing with the public. Must have ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier one background investigation. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution. Additional Information Individual must fully meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation or a signed memorandum indicating the installation's decision on the 3-year residency requirement..
