    Custom Job Purpose:

    This position exists to create and maintain integrations of PURE approved digital learning applications within the district's single sign-on platform. Troubleshoots student and staff access issues to the applications and technical issues with the integration.

     

    Essential Functions of this Job

     

    Successful creation and maintenance of PURE approved digital learning applications integrations. Collaborates with the Instructional Technology department to provide what is needed for testing applications. Serves as a technical resource for digital learning applications integrations questions and issues. Follows policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and security of student and staff data. Maintains detailed documentation for each application integration.

     

    Non-Essential Functions of this Job

     

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of database structures and data extract processes. Knowledge of Active Directory account structures. Knowledge of the Student Information System. Ability to work independently. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

     

    with district and school staff.

     

    Education, Experience and/or Certification/License Requirements

     

    Graduation from a.n accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming, Database Administration or a related field, or equivalent verifiable experience. Two or more years of Information Technology experience, or equivalent training and experience.

    Work Context:

    Requires some sitting and standing, walking and moving about to coordinate work. Requires the use of alternative communication systems, such as electronic mail, telephones and computers. Requires coordination of work tasks to establish priorities, set goals and meet deadlines. Requires face-to-face discussions and contact with individuals and/or teams. Requires work with internal and external contacts, and with the public.

    Physical Environment:

    Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. Requires sitting for the majority of the day, and the ability to lift, carry, move and/or position objects infrequently weighing up to 20 pounds and up to 10 pounds frequently, as needed.
