    ### Job Duties

    • Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

    • Prepare detailed take-offs, estimates, and purchase orders for all products in a timely manner.

    • Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and contractors during the bid process.

    • Prepare cost analysis with budget pricing, value-engineering options, and cost breakdowns when needed.

    • Manage requests for information, bid invitations, and proposal submissions.

    • Present prepared estimates to management and customers in a timely manner.

    • Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors and contractors.

    • Promote the highest level of customer satisfaction through accurate quality work and courteous, conscientious positive attitude.

    ### Minimum Education Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 1 + years commercial estimating experience.

    ### Minimum Experience Required

    • Proficiency with estimating software (BlueBeam, AutoCad, and Excel).

    • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

    • Strong management skills with ability to meet deadlines on multiple bids at once.

     

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and develop cost estimates.

    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

    • Exceptional time management skills with ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids at once.

    • Excellent math, measurement, and detailed orientational skills.

    • Knowledge of quartz, solid surface, and natural stone products, preferred.

    • Ability to work independently and be able to travel.

    • Well organized and ability to solve problems.

    • Proficiency in computer applications including Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, etc.
