We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer The successful candidate will be motivated to drive process improvements with a specific focus on quality within the manufacturing of circuit card assemblies (CCA's) and fully completed units. The successful candidate will support:

Ensure compliance to all aspects of Safety

PRODUCT PROCESS EFFICIENCY
Focus on understanding quality drivers through assessment of quality documents and interactions with processes
Reduce cycle times, through quality improvement actions
QUALITY
Ensure team meets quality objectives
Promote a culture of 100% quality
TEAM
Work collaboratively on initiatives to ensure that continuous improvement is focused on quality through data collection, assessment and actions
Ensure ongoing collaboration of best practices and strategies. Carry out training when necessary
Identify and communicate training needs and skills gaps in the teams
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Associate or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical, systems, engineering, or other relevant discipline
+ Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Some level of technical skills and knowledge of technical requirements
+ General understanding of electronics manufacturing process
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Lean Manufacturing Exposure
+ Statistical Analysis including SPC, CpK, MSA, DOE
+ Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt
+ Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $63662 - $108225
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
