We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the high impact Compass Call program on the Baseline 4 team. In this role, you ll bring technical expertise to the development of mission software that disrupts adversary radar and communication networks. You ll work with modern C in secure Linux environments, leveraging Agile and DevSecOps practices, with continuous integration pipelines and robust testing environments that ensure quality and reliability. You ll be collaborating closely with engineers from other disciplines to solve complex technical challenges and driving innovation in the electromagnetic battlespace. This position is primarily an in-office position with opportunities to work from home on occasion.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Ability to obtain Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and minimum of 6 years work experience or equivalent experience

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills

+ Experience with Software Defined Radio (SDR) subsystems framework

+ Experience in optimizing network data transmission and receiving pipelines throughput

+ Experience with Agile development

+ Foundation in Object-Oriented design and implementation

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Secret clearance

+ Active CompTIA Security Certification

+ Full Life-Cycle Software development, integration, processes, and methodologies

+ Foundation in modern design and implementation principles

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
