Job Description

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to help lead multiple projects involving information analysis, financial impact, systems analysis and implementation, solutions development, and project management. This role requires expertise in cold chain operations, temperature control solutions, packaging, and facility engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement projects to reduce costs, increase revenue, and improve customer service

• Lead development and execution of operating plans and data analysis

• Set strategies to transform business processes and tools

• Prepare, analyze, and monitor short- and long-term plans

• Lead cross-functional teams to optimize facility use and package distribution

• Ensure supplier and service compliance with policies and regulations

• Develop and monitor operational procedures, capacity, and staffing

• Recommend methods to improve productivity, service, and cost

• Manage project planning, scheduling, and communication with stakeholders

• Collect and report financial and operational data

• Evaluate budget requests and lead development of operational and project budgets

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related quantitative field

• 8+ years of relevant experience

• Cold chain experience with temperature control solutions, packaging, and facility engineering strongly preferred

• Ability to create operating plans, conduct studies, and analyze and prepare data for engineers

• Skilled in developing strategies and monitoring both long- and short-term plans

• Strong project management skills and ability to lead project teams

• Knowledge of operational and financial plans and data

• Ability to manage suppliers and ensure compliance

• Ability to design and facilitate technical training

• Excellent communication skills
